Top Tips to Keeping Healthy, Mentally & Physically | Women's Health Week

Good health starts with you! This Women’s Health Week is a great reminder to set aside time for your personal health and wellbeing. Make an appointment for a health check, get active, practice self love, and stay connected with family and friends. Below we take you through how to get started.

Get active

Whether its in your house or outside, we all know how important it is to get active, but sometimes it can be a little hard to find the motivation to get up and going. The easiest way? Choose an activity that makes you feel good. Some people might prefer to sweat it out in a spin class, others might prefer a long walk on the beach followed by a post walk dip (nothing like the cool salt water to clear your head, right?!). No matter what you choose, the important part is to just get the body moving, take deep breaths and enjoy!

Practice self love

Life is busy but it shouldn’t be too busy to practice some self love. Self love can mean different things to different people. To some self love might be running a hot bath and having an at home pamper sesh, diving into the ocean, or simply switching off your devices. It can mean spending time in nature or just relaxing in your backyard with a good book (don't forget your SPF!). Whatever self love is to you, put time aside and just do it.

Get connected

Our connections with family and friends are so important. The last 18 months have been tough for most, where it’s not always been possible to connect with our friends and family in person. We’ve all managed to get creative and find other ways to connect, with online catch ups and game nights, nights spent on video calls, photos and videos being shared in family group and friend group chats. No matter the method, it’s super important to keep these connections going.

How are you going to prioritise your health & wellbeing and help #spreadthefeelgood this Women’s Health Week?
