Ingredients Your Skin Will Love: Tomato Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, Carnosine and Squalane

What do Tomato Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba, Carnosine and Squalane have in common? All of these skin-loving goodies can be found in one exciting new product launching later this month. Can you guess what it is?

Not only will it provide daily protection from the damaging effects of sunlight and environmental pollutants, but it is jam packed full of ingredients that will help protect, restore and hydrate your skin so you can get on with the fun stuff!

Tomato Extract (AKA, Solanum Lycopersicum) is bursting with goodness! We all know the benefits tomatoes provide when we consume them (antioxidants, potassium, folate etc.), but what about when used in skincare? Well, Tomato Extract contains Lycopene and Carotenoids, both high-level antioxidants that provide natural UV protection and anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have also shown that Tomato Extract can brighten skin tone.

Hyaluronic Acid is like a big drink of water for your skin! This amazing molecule has the ability to hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water. It attracts and holds onto moisture in skin cells making your skin look and feel more hydrated and plump. Hydrated skin can reduce the appearance of wrinkles making the skin appear smoother.

Harvested from the Simmondsia Chinensis plant, Jojoba contains Vitamin E and acts as an antioxidant to ward off free radical damage. Jojoba is an amazing oil that is very similar to our own naturally produced oils, designed to protect and provide moisture for our skin. It is high in omega fatty acids 6 and 9, known for their ability to protect skin. It is highly moisturising and works to seal your skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing moisture.

An excellent emollient, Squalane (not to be mistaken for Squalene) is especially hydrating and can assist in preventing moisture loss. The antioxidants found in Squalane can also protect the skin against free radicals and skin damage caused by UV rays.

Carnosine is a skin-loving goodie that doesn’t get nearly enough attention in the skincare world. You could say it’s the 'unsung hero' of skincare. It’s known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and can assist in preventing and repairing fine lines and early signs of aging. Carnosine is also known for its benefits in infrared/blue light protection, as well as visible light protection. It has anti-glycation properties meaning it blocks damaging sugar molecules which bind to, and damage collagen in the skin.

If you guessed a daily face SPF, then you got it! Good Morning SPF 50, COMING SOON!
