How long have you girls known each other? How did you meet?
I’ve known Ikit for a while now! We are both from the same island and most people here know each other. She’s been a surfing buddy for a long time!
When did you start surfing? Who taught you?
I started surfing when I was around 7. My dad taught me and a lot of people at home in Byron also.
There were only a handful. Ate Nildie, ate nilbie, ate manette! The Agudo sisters and now so many young females are surfing! It’s so inspiring to see. Definitely helps having women to look up to and having surfing tourism on the island. I believe the women here before us paved the way and for sure the agudo sisters have been such an inspiration.
What does surfing mean to you?
Surfing means fun to me. It means connection the our mama earth.
The zinc is my favorite! It stays on so well and is my go to for any adventure!

How long have you girls known each other? How did you meet?
I’ve known Josie since we were little. We live on a small island so we know most of the people here. She’s also one of the person i look up to in long boarding.
When did you start surfing? Who taught you?
I started surfing when I was 14. My brothers taught me how to surf and some of the locals here in Siargao.
Were there many female surfers in Siargao when you were growing up? What do you think has helped to change that?
There were not so many girls surfing back then.
I think the tourism, surf comps yearly and these local legend surfers were the main reasons and inspirations to everyone to engaged into this sport/lifestyle.
What does surfing mean to you?
Surfing means freedom and pure fun.
What’s your favourite We Are Feel Good Inc. product and why?
My most favorite is the Wild Rosella sunscreen. It’ stays on for a few hours, very light on the skin and smells really good.
