Our Sticky Zinc SPF 50+ is formulated using both physical and chemical UV filters. It is broad spectrum and up to 4 hours water resistant, with added Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. Hardcore against the elements, but soft on your skin.

Our cult-favourite Sticky Zinc can work as a BB cream or in place of foundation when you want to even out your skin tone.⁠

Does not contain PABA, parabens, oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Ingredients

Hero Ingredients:

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - a must have in your daily skin regime. There is abundant evidence for its ability to repair sun damaged skin by reducing abnormal pigmentation and fine lines. Niacinamide also helps to reduce inflammatory conditions like acne and rosacea, as well as protect against the infrared damage from the sun.

Vitamin E - one of the most popular ingredients in skincare, used for its antioxidant properties helping to neutralise free radical damage. When used in sunscreens, it can help to boost the effectiveness of UV filters, adding an extra layer of defence. Not to mention, it is incredibly moisturising!

Aloe Vera - not only acts as an emollient, but contains antioxidants which can help repair sun damage. Rich in Vitamins A, C, E and B12, its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce swelling and skin irritation.

Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 200 mg/g, Bemotrizinol 30 mg/g, Octocrylene 20 mg/g, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate 40 mg/g.

Usage Instructions

Use tinted zinc sunscreen liberally on dry skin and cover exposed area/s 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or more often when sweating, and after swimming or towelling. For external use only. Keep out of your eyes. Do not use on damaged or diseased skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Avoid prolonged exposure. It is important to wear protective clothing such as long sleeves, hats and protective eyewear when exposed to the sun. Store below 30˚C.

What’s the difference between your Sticky Zinc SPF 50+ and your other sunscreen formulas?

Our Sticky Zinc SPF 50+ is designed to stay on and protect your skin in all conditions, offering up to 4 hours water resistant protection. It contains a combination of chemical (organic) UV filters and Zinc Oxide (physical filters), with added Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to help combat the visible signs of aging. Our sunscreens on the other hand are designed for everyday comfort on the skin, as well as being a performance product. So like our Sticky Zinc, they provide UVA & UVB protection for up to 4 hours in the water, however don't have any 'stickiness' or thick texture to them.

It is becoming a cult beauty product as of late, in that it can be used in place of makeup due to the colour tints we use. In order to achieve full SPF 50+ coverage, you do need to use the recommended teaspoon size amount.

What is the difference between Sticky Zinc SPF50+ and your Mineral Zinc Stick SPF50+?

Our cult-favourite Sticky Zinc SPF50+ has a rich, creamy consistency, while our Mineral Zinc Stick SPF50+, though a solid stick, glides on smoothly and blends seamlessly into the skin, thanks to the emollients in the formula. Consistency wise, the stick still retains a firmer feel compared to the creamier texture of the Sticky Zinc, though they both have a similar finish once applied to the skin.

Is your Sticky Zinc SPF 50+ really that “sticky”? Is it greasy?

Our Sticky Zinc SPF 50+ is a thicker, zinc formula but is, however, non-greasy. It's designed to protect your skin at a broad spectrum SPF 50+ level and stay on while you are ‘active’ in the sun.

Is this product safe to use on children and sensitive skin?

Yes, it is safe to use on children 6 months + and for those with sensitive skin. However as with all new products, we recommend introducing all new products by starting with a small patch test.

How do I know which shade of Sticky Zinc SPF50+ is for me?

This product was originally designed to give surfers and watermen/women the option to wear a sunscreen that more closely matches their skin tone. Please note, this product is not intended to match everyone’s skin tone. If you would prefer to try this product before purchasing, we advise finding a stockist near you as many of our retailers carry testers in-store.

    Superb as foundation, doesnt pill under make-up

    I am a 58 year old woman, with a still active oily t-zone. I apply a light moisturizer before applying my tinted Sticky Zinc SPF50+. I contacted "We are Feel Good Inc", who assured me 1/2 teaspoon on the face plus 1/2 teaspoon on the neck and chest are sufficient for coverage and protection. I try to wait 10 - 15 minutes before I use a light coat of translucent powder with a fluffy brush, either Laura Mercier or Hourglass, then apply my usual full make-up over the top. Excellent results, no pilling. Love this product.
