As the official sunscreen partner for Volleyball Australia, we'd like to recognise some of the newest members to #teamfeelgood. Mark Nicolaidis & Izac Carracher are Australian Beach Volleyball players striving for the 2024, 2028 and 2032 Olympic Games. This year marks their first season as teammates and is already proving to be a match made in heaven after winning their first ABVT title in Mollymook last month and a silver medal in Cobram. We're excited to see what the rest of the season holds for these two!
We are lucky enough to chase summer around the world competing in the Beach Volleyball Pro Tour and King of the Court events.

So, tell us a little bit about what’s been going on – the 2022 competitions will be starting soon, what does that mean for you? What does the year ahead look like?
Currently, we are leading the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour for 2022 after coming off the back of a win at round 2 in Mollymook, NSW. We are gearing up for a big few months on the road kicking off with Volleyslam at Coolangatta Beach in April. Our next stop on the Volleyball Pro Tour will be in Thailand before we head to Europe for 3 months competing in over 13 events.
What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not training or competing?
When we are not on the sand, we love to remain active and fuel our competitive side through any game we can find such as pool or lawn bowls. We love beach trips and exploring the coastline and you’ll often find Izac surfing the big waves with no regard for Mark drowning in the shallows. To keep the brains intact, Mark just graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Property Economics and Izac is finishing a degree in Law and Finance. We both love to scheme and come up with what we think will be the next billion-dollar business idea.
Where did you grow up/where are you living now?
Mark grew up in Brisbane, Queensland while Izac grew up in Manly, NSW. Currently, we are both based in Adelaide, training full time as part of the Australian Beach Volleyball National Program.
What’s your favourite We Are Feel Good Inc. product & why?
We love all of We Are Feel Good Inc’s products for their amazingly soft and smooth texture, but our personal favourites are Sticky Zinc and Coconut Sunscreen. As beach volleyballers we often find ourselves in the sun for up to 12 hours a day. It’s nice to reapply with light and refreshing products that smell as good as they feel.
It’s been a tough couple of years for many. What’s helped you stay positive and active?
While it has been a tough couple of years, we’ve managed to stay positive as we were fortunate enough to remain training and competing domestically through these tough times. We also found that the extra time at home allowed us to spend well needed time with friends and family to keep us going. We couldn’t be more excited now that international competition is back in the picture.
