Meet Liam Fawell

Liam Fawell is a West Coast Aussie Photographer + Videographer and #feelgood content king! From directing fashion campaigns to being flown across the world to promote tourism, Liam surely is living the dream. His work encompasses the idea of wanderlust, allowing you to join him on his adventures and #spreadthefeelgood. His eager to learn attitude and high level of “froth” was more than enough reason to ask him to join #teamfeelgood. When he agreed, we asked him a few questions to get to know him a bit better.

1. Describe yourself in three words.

Optimistic, Sensitive, Ambitious.

2. Tell us a little bit about what’s been going on and what’s in store for the rest of the year – you’ve been flying around the world for tourism jobs and you recently started doing podcasts, is there anything you don’t you do?

Yeah this year has been crazy so far! Some very exciting opportunities have come about recently through social media which I’m stoked with. I’ve just come home from a tourism job in Abu Dhabi, promoting the city and showcasing that it is opening back up again to vaccinated travellers. I’m flat out with freelance work and have got a multitude of different projects going on at the same time, one being a podcast called Phat Chats that I do with two of my best mates. So yes I definitely feel like I’m doing a bit of everything, but am definitely trying to reduce the amount of different projects I’m working on simultaneously, so I can really put time and energy into the few I’m most passionate about.

The rest of the year is extremely exciting. Let’s just say, lots of travel, plenty of personal projects and a whole lot of growth and pushing boundaries to see what I can really achieve and where it takes me.

3. What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not working?

It’s a funny one because a lot of the time I don’t really feel like I’m working. A blessing and a curse you could say, where my life, relationships, work and what I do for fun is all very combined and integrated. I wouldn’t have it any other way, but when I do really try to switch off, road trips with good people, sunny days at the beach, and time in solitude sitting with my thoughts are some of my favourite escapes.

4. Where did you grow up/where are you living now?

I grew up in Western Australia in a beautiful town called Mundaring amongst the Perth Hills. I lived there my whole life until a couple of years ago where I made the move down to City Beach. The coast life was calling me and as much as I do miss my parents and the slow pace of life in the Hills, I’m absolutely in love with where I’m living.

5. What’s your favourite We Are Feel Good Inc. product & why?

My favourite product is the Coconut Sunscreen without a doubt. It smells good, feels good, the packaging looks incredibly aesthetic and I love anything related to coconuts.

6. It’s been a tough couple of years for many. What’s helped you stay positive?

I’ve been very fortunate to have not been heavily affected by the past couple years. My work has been very flexible and we’ve remained relatively in a bubble here on the West Coast with our situation so I’m very grateful for that. Surrounding myself with positive and likeminded people and just constantly working on bettering myself has kept me very optimistic for sure.

7. It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, what message would you like to share with your mum?

Happy Mothers Day Mum! The biggest influence that’s helped shaped the person I am today without a doubt. I’m flying to Bali on Mothers Day and she’s dropping me off at the airport in the early hours of the morning. That just sums it up really, there isn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for us kids. We connect on such a deep level, she’s taught me so much and I’m just so blessed to have her as a mum. So I just want to say thanks for everything, love you!

Welcome to the team, Liam!
