Do I need to wear sunscreen everyday?
Up to 90% of skin aging and most skin cancers are caused by unprotected sun exposure and when you absorb UV rays.
Sun damage is cumulative, and in Australia, sunburn can occur in as little as 10 minutes in the sun.
So, applying every morning should be an essential part of your daily routine. Our lotions are intended for daily use, all year round.
What sunscreen should I use?
The best sunscreen is one that you feel good enough about using everyday. From baby sunscreen to zinc sunscreen we've got you covered.
Choose a high SPF 50 if possible. For sporting and active days choose a water-resistant formula.
If you tend to have delicate skin check out our Sensitive Sunscreen SPF50+ and Mineral SPF50+.
Which UV filters do you use in your sunscreens?
Our sunscreens use a combination of chemical (organic) and physical (inorganic) filters. When looking at physical vs chemical sunscreen they differ by their active ingredients. Physical sunscreens use either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, whereas chemical sunscreens use UV filters that absorb rays and convert them into heat.
Suitable for all skin types, our Signature, Coconut, Kakadu Plum, Sensitive and Wild Rosella formulas use a combination of chemical filters, whereas our Baby Mineral Sunscreen uses physical and Sticky Zinc uses a combination of Zinc Oxide and chemical filters.
How often should I reapply sunscreen?
Each sunscreen differs, however we do recommend applying our products according to the specific product directions.
Use liberally on dry skin and cover exposed area/s 20 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply every 2 hours or more often when sweating, swimming and toweling.
