Do your skincare products expire?
Each of our sunscreens are marked with an expiration date, which is 3 years from the manufacture date. Please note, sunscreen formulations are quite sensitive to heat and other external factors so itβs important to store your goods as directed (below 30Β°C) and always ensure the lid is on properly when not in use (air-tight). Unfortunately this means if you store your sunscreen in your car or if left in the sun too long, the formulation can become unstable and may not provide the protection youβre expecting. Our moisturisers are all marked with their manufacture date. These products are safe to use within 3 years of this date.
Do you use any artificial fragrances?
We use both natural and artificial fragrances in our sunscreens, moisturisers and lip balms. Our natural fragrances are clean and genuine. We even like to source them locally, meaning we do use a lot of native ingredients alongside the scents that come with them.
If you experience allergies to fragrances, we recommend our skin care products for sensitive skin - dermatologically tested and clinically proven for sensitive skin, and are all free from fragrance, parabens and PABAs.
Do you need different products for morning & evening?
There is no wrong or right answer - first of all everyoneβs skin is different. Finding the right goods to match your skin type is the first step in creating a routine that services your skin well. If youβre unsure of what skin type you have we recommend seeking a clinic for professional medical advice from your dermatologist or GP.
Regardless, experts agree that for night time, cleansers need to have a makeup remover in it (if you wear makeup), while moisturisers should be thicker and more hydrating at night. Test out our Good Night Skin Restoring Cream for results that will have you feeling like youβve just walked out of a beauty clinic. Dermatologists suggest that masks should be used at least once a week in addition to moisturising.
Which areas of the body should I pay more attention to?
Your skin is your bodyβs biggest organ, itβs super important to take care of it as much as you can. Everyone emphasizes the importance of caring for your face, but you should pay just as much attention to your hands, neck and chest.
Anywhere where the signs of aging are visible!
Get into the habit of applying sunscreen every morning and moisturise all the way down to your chest, while rubbing excess product on the back of your hands. In reality, sunscreen should go everywhere you go - invest in a Good Morning and chuck in your bag being sure to apply a thin layer every 2 hours when out in the sun.
