To begin with, it’s not like other physical UV formulas. Where Zinc Oxide has been used in sunscreens for many years, Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50+ has been formulated using new, micronized zinc technology.
What does this mean? In the past, Zinc Oxide based sunscreens have been known to be heavy, sticky and more than likely, leave a white cast on your skin once applied. Thanks to micronized zinc technology, Zinc Oxide has become available in smaller, 'micronized' particles (no, not nano-particles), meaning it is clear on application, lightweight and non-greasy, while still providing SPF 50+ broad spectrum protection.
Our formula is fragrance free and dermatologically tested for those with sensitive skin. It is also enriched with natural emollients for extra hydration and nourishment and doesn’t contain parabens, PABA, oxybenzone or octinoxate.
